The Purpose of the Friends of the Library is:

Support and assist the Library in fulfilling their mission to be the Best Place to Learn & Discover.



Be a Friend of the Bartlett Library

If you want to support the Library in their efforts to provide quality services and programs, then being a Friend of the Library is for you! Organizations, Clubs and Businesses are welcome to join, too! Annual dues are at the beginning of the year. Membership fees help to fund a variety of projects.


Please fill out the Friends Application and return it to the Library, along with your payment, to become a Friend's member.



What They Do

The Friends participate in many activities and fundraisers during the year, including:

  • Perpetual Book Sale
  • Special Events
  • LIbrary Volunteers

The Friends have contributed funds for:

  • Reading Club Prizes
  • Library Programs
  • Magazine Subscriptions
  • Fravinia!
  • Furniture & Equipment
  • Books for New Youth Cardholders


Guidelines for Book Sale Donations

Donations are not being accepted at this time.



Friends Meetings

The Friends of the Bartlett Library meet on the second Tuesday of the following months at 7:00 p.m.

  • January
  • March
  • May
  • July
  • September
  • November

The public is welcome to attend.
